Over the years, I have owned Costas, Ray Bans, Oakley's and others. While the polarization and UV protection has been great in all of them, they were all easily scratched and it seems that they needed yearly replacement. I spent over $1,800 over six years on those brands. About 2 years ago, one of the guides at Hunter Banks Fly shop recommended Breakline, so I purchased a pair, and have seen a night and day difference between them and the other high-dollar brands. The polarization and UV protection are as good as the other brands, the cost is significantly less and, most importantly to me, they are very scratch resistant. The only issue that I had with the lenses was delamination of the edge of one lens after about a year of wear, and when I called Breakline, the owner of the company answered the phone and they shipped new sunglasses to me that day at no charge. When I have needed service from the other companies, it has been much more complex and difficult, not to mention that their warranties are short vs Breakline's lifetime warranty. Based on that experience, I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses a few weeks ago, and received them last week. The prescription is correct and focus areas in the progressive lens are perfect. Cost was over $300 less than my local optical shop for prescription sunglasses. Customer service and quality like this seem to be lost in todays retail world, so the Breakline experience has been a welcome surprise.
Fantastic
Love my new Breakline sunglasses! AAA+
